Finally - socks for Haley to match her Mom's pair in reverse colors. Had great fun making them - a little tough during the move but done in time for her birthday. Made with #2 dpn and Fleece Artist yarn.

Socks for Laurie
Hello Friends -
Well, between a new job, garage sale and packing this hasn't been easy but when I thought I wouldn't finish in time for the Sock a Month Knitalong I knew I had to crank it up. Finished with 1 1/2 hours to spare. Hahaha....
Used the Lace Anklet pattern from May-June 2007 Cast on and size 2 dpn.

May Socks
Hello - Just finished these socks I made for a friend that had a baby girl (after three boys!) I figured she needed something girlie and what is better than flowers and lace. Since they are tiny I made two pairs. I used Knit Picks Merino yarn (which was very soft and nice to work with). The socks were made with size 3 dp needles. Welcome to the world little one..... Love, Renee'

April Socks
I finally finished a pair of socks I started quite awhile ago. Love both the pattern and the yarn but you know how it goes when another project calls your name. These socks are for Tracie for her birthday - and I plan to make Haley a pair with the reverse colors. Used size one needles, Fleece Artist Merino yarn (in teal and seashore) and the Chain Link Socks pattern designed by Deby Lake for the Six Sox KAL.

Busy, busy girl...
Busy Girl
I just finished my February socks for SAM 5 and Ravelry 2008 Sock Knitalong. The socks are made using Dream In Color Smooshy sock yarn in Wisterious - absolutely gorgeous colors!!! I used the Garter Rib pattern in Charlene Schurch's Sensational Knitted Socks book - It was a great pattern and her book is filled with all kinds of great information - including losing the gap at the top of the gusset! Yahoo. I made them for my Mom for her birthday!

JANUARY SOCKS...SMALL FEET!
The socks I knit as my January Socks are for my grandson, Ryan. I used Buttons Yarn and an Ann Norling pattern. I had high hopes of making a pair of socks for my mom as my January socks, using Dream in Color yarn and a pattern from the Sensational Socks book. But between my mom going in the hospital, being layed off from a civil engineering firm and having to find a new job it just didn't happen. (I am now working as a receptionist at a small animal hospital which I've done before and loved.)
2008 - whack, whack...ouch!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Hope 2008 will be a great year for all! Good Luck that your year will be filled with all the things you love to do! I am signed up on several sock KAL's so I've got my work (ahhhh, if only work could be this much fun!) cut out for me. Starting a new pair of socks tonight so pictures should be coming soon. Also have a baby sweater to finish for a friend. Take Care!
